François Lacasse
Petits écrasements
François Lacasse studies the physical and material qualities of color and its application methods. The transformation process plays an important role in his works, which are the results of a sequence of gestures and protocols. Petits écrasements is in line with his recent work, but expands into new experiments incorporating silkscreen printing and the possibilities it affords with regard to color.
Edition of 50 copies printed on Stonehenge 100% cotton paper of archive quality, 56x76 cm. 8-colors silk-screen print.
